1. What programmes are offered by the Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science?

The faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Food Science, Food Technology and Crop Science.

2. How can I apply for a programme at this faculty?

Applications for undergraduate programmes are made via the UPU portal, while postgraduate applications can be made through the UMT MyMohon portal.

3. What are the minimum entry requirements?

Entry requirements vary by programme. Generally, applicants must pass STPM/Matriculation/Diploma in a relevant science field.

Yes, all students are required to undergo industrial training at relevant agencies or companies during their final year.

Yes, students are involved in research projects during their final year and may also participate in ongoing faculty research.

The faculty is located at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu’s campus in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.

The faculty offers modern laboratories (Fisheries, Aquaculture, Food Science, Food Technology and Crop Science), Bidong Island Research Station, Tasik kenyir Research Station, Hatchery Complex Fisheries and Aquaculture.
