MoU Signing Ceremony between Coral Triangle Initiative CFF and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu

1.The role of CTI-CFF is imperative in conserving and sustainably managing coastal and marine and resources within the Coral Triangle region

2.Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is considered as viable approach for the CTI-CFF to engage public sector and private sector in establishing integrated infrastructure solutions for fisheries, coastal and marine sectors.

3.The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat will utilize Track Two Diplomacy in CTI-CFF Pacific region through organizational capacity building focusing on developing the capacities of organizations and communities so they are better equipped to accomplish the missions they have set out to fulfil.

The financial support and technical assistance should be maintained to energize all efforts towards the achievement of the RPOA goals along with its targets and regional actions

5.CTI-CFF Universities Partnership is aimed to address the CTI-CFF Regional Plan of Action by way of cooperation with experts in the respective higher learning organizations.

6.The universities from each member countries (CT6) and other potential universities are considered as part of strengthening the RS as well as strengthening NCC.
