1. The program is offered by the Faculty of Food Science and Agrotechnology (New Faculty), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, starting the 2025/2026 session. It is one of the prevalent programs of choice by students.
2. Program focuses on the study of technologies in processing of crop, livestock, and aquaculture products, preservation technologies, packaging, food safety, as well as automation and supply chain logistics. It also covers elements of agricultural product standards and regulations, agro-waste processing, and the requirements of the halal food industry.
3. The main objective of this program is to produce graduates who are skilled in agro-based processing technology and the efficient, safe management of agricultural products, and who can contribute effectively to the agro-food sector through sustainable and innovative technologies.
